G. D. J. (Greg) Cohoon (Chief of Police, Rtd.)
Extensive experience in public policing operations and administration, with over forty years policing service, including twenty years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and twenty-three years as Chief of The Moncton Police Force, City of Moncton, N.B.
Greg Cohoon is a Graduate of the Executive Development Program, Canadian Police College, Ottawa ON and a Graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Law Enforcement Program, Quantico, Virginia, USA. He is a Past President and Life Member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police as well as Past President and Life Member of the New Brunswick and Atlantic Association of Chiefs of Police.
Greg Cohoon is a Life Member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and has received an IACP award for “Outstanding Contribution Towards Professionalism In Law Enforcement”. He was awarded the “Canadian Police Exemplary Service Medal” and is a recipient of the “Queen’s Jubilee Medal”.
